How did you become interested in an electric moped? And why did you choose a Vässla specifically?

I wanted to make my commute more efficient both for my body and time-wise. I saw more and more electric mopeds on the roads and thought it would be a perfect option, because I still wanted my commute to remain environmentally friendly and driving a car in central Stockholm is something you want to avoid. It often goes slower. When I started looking at the different options available, I saw that Vässla was presented as the best option if you want to commute with an electric moped. I had also seen several on the road and liked that they still looked like mopeds; the other variants looked almost like bicycle/moped hybrids. Then the fact that the Vässla has a long range on one charge, plus the possibility to drive with two batteries made the choice easier. I drive a lot so I wanted a moped that could handle many kilometers.

Has the Vässla replaced or complemented any other means of transport you previously used?

I used an electric bike before, and still sometimes if I quickly need to go to the store or similar. However, I have discovered that the Vässla is very convenient so I am moving away from my bike more and more. I thought it was annoying not to have a basket at first, like you have on a bike. But I have now noticed that I can carry just as much, if not more, on the Vässla. It is safe that you can attach the handle to the hook that is there. So now I usually do the weekly shopping with the Vässla, it works perfectly. Especially if you also have a backpack.

Would you say that the Vässla has helped you save time in your daily life? If YES, about how much per week?

Definitely! I can on a Saturday morning go from my place (Gärdet) to Eriksdalsbadet in 14 minutes. That is door to door. Previously when I took the subway, the travel time on the subway alone was 14 minutes, excluding walking to and from and waiting time. So it probably saves me 10-15 minutes every time I drive, which I do 9 times a week. So that totals 3 hours per week if I have counted correctly. When I cycled to the pool it still took at least 20 minutes.

What would you say are the 3 main reasons you chose a Vässla?

1. Time

2. Convenience/Freedom

3. Environment
